Google PageRank is part of the history of search, but an old public score is not a useful target for a website review. Look at the pages customers need, the searches reaching them and the quality of the resulting enquiries.

Look Beyond A Single Score

Search performance involves more than an external tool’s authority metric. Use the measures available for your own site and compare them with a clear objective. A third-party score can describe that tool’s model; it is not a direct statement of how Google will rank a page.

Check Important Pages Individually

List the pages that explain your main services or products. Confirm that each has a clear title, useful content and links from relevant parts of the website. Inspect whether obsolete or duplicate URLs are splitting the journey.

Review Queries And Outcomes Together

Search Console can show impressions, clicks and average position for a defined period. Compare like-for-like segments and note changes in the pages receiving traffic. Use enquiries and sales records to understand whether the visits were useful.

Prioritise An Improvement You Can Verify

Fix a broken path, improve an incomplete answer or make a page easier to use on mobile. Record the date and review the outcome over a suitable period. A measured change teaches more than pursuing an arbitrary score target.
